Welcome to Manuka Vet Hospital

Manuka Vet Hospital has been committed to the care of animals since its establishment in 1987 by Dr Graeme Pearce. It provides a very high standard of medical and surgical care as well as excellent care of its customers. In 2014, Dr Pearce retired and Dr Michael Archinal took over the practice.

As pet owners and pet lovers ourselves, we appreciate the importance that your pets play in your homes and lives. Our highly qualified veterinarians provide veterinary care for a wide range of species, and treat with the highest level of care for you and your pet. We seek to help make people and their pets the happiest they can be,

Due to its location, the hospital also looks after many patients who travel overseas and need to fulfill export requirements.

In early 2014 Deakin Vet Hospital joined with us which has enabled us to provide a more comprehensive service to the local area.

COVID-19 Policy

  1. Upon arrival to the hospital, please contact reception on 6295-6089 and remain waiting in the carpark/your car.
  2. When the veterinarian is ready to see your animal/s, a nurse or the vet will come out to escort you and your animal/s in. The way in which you enter the clinic will depend on the consultation room the veterinarian is in:
  1. Room 1 – Enter and leave via front door
  2. Room 2 – Enter and leave via back door

Please be advised that only ONE person is allowed in the hospital during the consultation. Others are requested to wait in their car to maintain the 4m2 requirements. Clients with children are welcome to stay in their car and a nurse can escort the animal/s in and out of the consultation rooms.

  1. You are then able to hold your pet for the vet as usual.
  2. After the examination, please leave the consult room immediately unless instructed by the veterinarian.
  3. Payment will occur either in the consultation room or carpark.
  4. No-one is to be in the waiting room at this stage, until the next level of restrictions is lifted.
  5. Please call ahead to pick up medication, food, etc.
