Henrietta Frewin

Practice Manager - NVQ Level 2 and 3

Henrietta started veterinary nursing in the UK in 1998 and qualified in 2003.  She worked as Head Nurse in a small animal clinic for 6 years before leaving the UK in October, 2010.

Henrietta worked in Melbourne and Sydney and enjoyed travelling around Australia before moving to Canberra in February, 2012, where she started working at Manuka Veterinary Hospital.  She finds her work both challenging and rewarding, and takes great pride in making Manuka Veterinary Hospital the best environment possible.

Henrietta continues to enjoy travelling, and has a love for music and sport.  Aside from veterinary nursing, she also enjoys pet-sitting and has many local pets that she regularly looks after.

Karen Warner

Veterinary Nurse - Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing

For over 13 years Karen was the head nurse with Dr Jim Stewart at Deakin Vet Hospital. When we merged in Feb 2014, Karen became a much valued member of the Manuka team. Karen shares her life with well 4 behaved cockatiels, a pair of  galahs and a very understanding cat called “Ebony”. Karens reads A LOT, and shows attention and concentration gymnastics by doing cross-stitch in her spare time.

Lizzie Kiss

Veterinary Nurse - Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing

Lizzie has been working with us at Manuka for almost 2 years. She has a packed life looking after 3 dogs, 6 lizards and her husband. She especially enjoys high end surgical nursing and she is undertaking a certification in animal behaviour. Lizzie particularly likes developing client and animal relations - enhancing the Human-Animal Bond.

Louise Ingle

Veterinary Nurse - Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing, Diploma in Animal Technology

Louise started working at Manuka Vet Hospital in December 2015. She completed a diploma in Animal Technology in 2013 and a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2014. She enjoys working with all animals but has a particular interest in reptiles and loves seeing exotic cats. Louise and her husband were fortunate enough to adopt the clinic cat Norman a British blue shorthair who they both absolutely love, adore and spoil. Outside of work Louise enjoys being Norman's slave, going to the markets, watching netflix and travelling. She hopes to locum around Scotland with her husband in the future (and maybe pick up a Scottish accent!)

Jess Smith

Veterinary Nurse - Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing

Jess grew up in a small country town and has wanted to work with animals for as long as she can remember. Upon moving to Canberra, Jess was open to the endless possibilities and decided she wanted to be a vet nurse at the age of 12.  . Jess has previously  had a variety of animals and currently has for a 5-year-old guinea pig (named Chelta a.k.a Ella) and two congo tetras (fish). She spend most of her time playing with Ella or finding ways to be active whenever she can.

Caitlin Fyle

Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Caitlin is currently undergoing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Since she was young, Caitlin has wanted to work with animals. However, decided to study Visual Art and Animation for a year and a half, before returning to her original career goal.

Caitlin owns 2 cats, 3 horses, 4 goats and 2 Alaskan malamutes. Spending her spare time either with her animals, drawing, painting, and sporting activities
